Yesterday we saw, like a lot of vacationers like to do, Yaldor reading a book. It appears to be “THE KYOTO PLOT” written by Ruben van Dijk, first book of a new Dutch genre called eco-thrillers that was recently started by publisher A.W. Bruna in the Netherlands.

Yaldor arrived on the Kallabongo resort in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. He has a spot of honor in the lounge of the hotel. Photo: Corrie ten BergeFebruary 16th 2008. Arrived on the Bandaranaike Airport in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is raining hard, we can see the lightning flashing through the air in the distance. It appears that the water drains cannot process all the water very well in Colombo.

We do have too much luggage weight, but even that is not a problem according to the ground flight attendant.

I heard Corrie and Peter talking about Colombo, and I do not mean the person we know as private detective or world traveler.

Yaldor’s name starts with the second letter of KYOTO. Like the other GNOMEDIARIES gnomes Yaldor is named after one of the letters off the Kyoto Protocol.
