 The GnomeDiaries design team is working together with the Dutch artist Ties Lowes who is creating the GnomeDiaries gnome. After the initial design they decided to make some essential modifications to give the gnome a more popular and well known gnomish look.
The travelling gnome prototype is made out of wax and will later be used for the creation of the mould. The mould is used for reproducing the gnomes. The first batch will consist out of 5 gnomes. When the gnomes are crafted they will be machine coated and hand painted in the GnomeDiaries colors. After the final check the gnomes will be sent out into the world.
