In April I went into politics and I am the first candidate for the party Venstre for the commune election in September. One of the main concernes for Venstre in the election campaign are environmental issues. I wanted to join this project because I see it as a good way to learn more about the climate crisis, and what each of us can do, both individuals, government and companies.
 
I came across this site while searching for "garden gnomes". After watching the movie "Amelie from Montmartre" I got a hung up for garden gnomes. Luckily I found a nice used garden gnome at the Net, so I am the proud owner of a real Dutch "Rien Poortvliet" gnome! Last year my husband and I had a practical joke with some of our neighbours. We bougth 7 gnomes (6 small and 1 big one). One nigth we put one of them in this familys garden, close to the road. Some nigths later we put another one there, closer to the house. This went on until the last, big gnome was standing just outside their door! Funny enough they still do not have a clue of who had put them there...
