What is the GnomeDiaries Adventure

Five GnomeDiaries gnomes will travel from person A to B and from B to C etcetera. Note that GnomeDiaries has no influence on the travel route of these gnomes. What the next destination of our gnome will be, is all up to you. The next person can be someone in your family, a good friend, or even a business relation.

You have to keep in mind that this gnome, is not just a traveling gnome! This is a traveling gnome with a message!

The GnomeDiaries gnomes are traveling around the globe to spread the important message that everybody can combat climate change. Your part is to submit content on our site, and give our gnomes a new destination. In the submission area on this site you can tell the world how you contribute in battling climate change.You can do so by posting a article and upload a photograph whith the gnome which is currently in your possession. You can read all about their adventures in their private diaries, this is where your article will be published.

Please keep the following in mind:

1. Take good care over the travelling gnome.
   (We do not want to let the gnome get lost in the world and thereby fail his mission);
2. Let us know where our gnome is staying.
   (With this information we can determine the travelling route. We do not give your personal information to a third party, please read our privacy policy carefully!);
3. Pass on the gnome, to someone you know who would like to participate.
   (Passing on our gnome means explaining these 4 steps to the person you hand the gnome over to, and if needed help to help this person posting his/her information and finding a new address);
4. Tell everybody that you participated in the GnomeDiaries adventure.
   (And spread the message that everybody can combat climate change).

Please do not let our gnome get lost! This means that you have to give the travelling gnome shelter for the night and find him a new sleeping address within a few weeks.

What if I can not succeed?

If you cannot succeed finding a new address, please first contact the person whom you have received the gnome from. Ask this person for help in finding a new address. If the both of you still can not find a new travelling destination, please contact gnomediaries.com for help and further instructions. We will then post a request on the website to find someone to pick up our gnome so that he can continue his journey. If we cannot find a solution together, you will be asked to send our gnome back to GnomeDiaries by mail. We will pay you back the shipping costs when the gnome has arrived back home safe.

How to submit your diary entry!

All our travelling gnomes have a special login page and unique login credentials to grant you access to our online submission system. You can find the login URL and the credentials on the backside of the message board that the gnome is carrying. Open the login page in your internet browser and use the credentials to login.
