February 15th 2008, after fifteen years having a relationship Roel Gillesen (one of the GNOMEDIARIES Team members) married Jolanda Bachrach in the beautiful old town of Bergen op Zoom.

Bergen op Zoom, where the town administration initiated the climate campaign “Bergs licht op Klimaat” (Bergen op Zoom's light on the climate) just two days before Roel and Jolanda's wedding date.

With the personal message "I’ll take my bike instead of the car. Better for man and environment" Alderman Sander Siebelink initiated the campaign kick-off. During “de Krabbenfoor” (Dutch nickname of the campaign) about 100 citizens wrote down their personal climate message and got in return an energy saving lamp and tips how to spare the climate.

At 15.00 hours the guests of Roel and Jolanda's wedding gathered in "de Markiezenhof" where one hour later the wedding ceremony took place. In "de Hofzaal" Roel and Jolanda made their wedding promise, after which the church ceremony took place in the Maria chapel.

The day ended with a party in the wine basement of "de Markiezenhof". The photo shows Roel and Jolanda and theire special guest the Ambasador.
