 America is not as bad as it seems. I'm sitting here at einmaleins in Olympia, WA and am looking out the window and I'm feeling inspired that small steps can change the world.
Yes my journey just has started but I hope I can find a lot more people like those folks here in Olympia that get IT! Today the Bicycle Commuter Contest started. I wish I knew how to ride a bike... Olympia has a brilliant Farmer's Market. Will someone get me some of those organic and local carrots. New stores pop up that inspire people to live a beautiful life and take care of their planet. Yes, it is a beautiful planet and filled with beautiful people - I'm excited for this journey. PS: Mathias at einmaleins told me about their First Friday events here in downtown Olympia, can't miss that - so I'll stay for the weekend and hopefully can hitch a ride with someone to Seattle. |
