Last week, we ran into a solar powered Air purifier. The company HengYuan Electotech has a range of solar powered products that clean the air. Besides the solar powered products, they also have Air purifiers that take maximum advantage of indoor/outdoor temperature difference, to save the maximum on engergy.

I don't want to turn this into a commercial, but the purifiers, do have some potential.

Not only do they clean the air in your boat, car or caravan, they also do this in a very environment friendly way. Not that I encourage you to get into your car and drive a while to get fresh air, but while you are at it.... Unfortunately they don't mention what the products are made off. I mean, when comparing the Toyota Prius to a Hummer, taking into account production of the car, the prius, did not stand out too well in that manner. But I assume that as this company seems very environment orientated, the choice of materials, are hopefully chosen wisely as well.

Although this seems to go the right way, a few things could make this more perfect to my satisfaction.

1. publishing environmental information on the website.
   (fabrics they use, waste policy etc.)
2. extending the solar capabilities to other products.
   (e.g. by attaching a solar panel to their commercial and in-doors products that you can place outside)
